I had some spare time over the holidays and wanted to share with you some of my favorite reads.  The most recent was Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.  A fast read with lots of surprise twists.  The book is on the best-seller list and its popularity has spread via word of mouth.  Also very interesting was Killing Kennedy by Bill O'Reilly.  Vaguely remembering the Kennedy funeral on TV, I found the events during that time period fascinating.  And lastly, two great books by author, Heather Gudenkauf: One Breath Away and the Weight of Silence.  I loved the story line and characters in both.   Let me add that the last three books mentioned I checked out through the Ocee Library using my online account.  I was surprised at how fast Killing Lincoln became available for such a popular book.  Any book in the Fulton County library system can be reserved and delivered to Ocee for easy pick-up.
