Mental Health Week
National Mental Health Week is 6 -12 October and 10 October is World Mental Health Day. These events serve to raise awareness about mental health issues. Approximately 1 in 4 adults in America are coping with a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year. Some 450 million people are living with mental illness worldwide. Stigma, superstition, and discrimination continues to exist. Educate yourself about mental health through the AFPL catalogue. Here are some reading lists for adults and teens.
