"Textual Healing"

Headed to the stacks to tackle those New Year’s resolutions for self-improvement ? Recent studies find that you may be better off selecting a book from the fiction section. 
Fictional characters can help foster empathy, offer insights, remind us that others have the same problems (or worse!), or simply take ourselves out of ourselves for a while.
