Push come to shove

Romantic relationships are complicated. Maybe this is why so much of what we read is about them. There’s certainly no shortage of bad role models and mixed messages in the media these days. Combined with a lack of experience, teens are most at risk for being in an abusive relationship.
February is National Teen Domestic Violence Month. Abuse can be physical, emotional/psychological, sexual, and electronic. Studies show that dating abuse begins as early as 11. One in 3 teens (girls and guys) have experienced dating violence. The rates go up to 45% for college women.
