A principal in England surveyed students aged 8-11 "and found a strong correlation between high use of digital devices, poor reading progress and unhappiness." In response, students are on a week long "digital detox. Instead of using their electronics, they'll be reading, playing board games/sports, colouring, taking walks and feeding the ducks. Students say they'll continue to use technology less; "It’s actually been more fun than normal.”
If you need help with a "digital detox", come along to the library.
