Don't forget the Friends of Ocee Library Book Nook. We have great prices on gently used books - and all money raised goes right back to the library for programs and materials.

1 December
1 December is #givingtuesday - a movement to give back in meaningful ways. Here are 2 ideas that cost only a little of your time:
Friends are collecting winter wear on behalf of our community partner, North Fulton Community Charities. You'll find a large gift box in the lobby for your contributions.
We're always in need of your gently used books. Money from the sale of these donations at our Book Nook helps to fund programming (especially for kids) at Ocee library. Look for the bin near the water fountain!
Holiday Hours
Come by the library soon to pick up holiday cookbooks, audio books for road trips, or the next on your TBR list. Don't forget books, CDs, and DVDs to keep the kids entertained over the long holiday.
The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will close on Wednesday 25 November at 6:00 pm. We will be closed on Thursday and Friday. We reopen on Saturday 28 November.

Happy World Kindness Day!
Here are some acts of kindness from upworthy you can do to make the world a kinder place:
1. Thank someone who's supported you in the past, like a teacher, friend, or mentor, by giving them a hand-written letter.2. Spend a couple hours volunteering at a local nonprofit organization (like the library).
3. Donate goods to a local shelter (leave gently used winter wear for North Fulton Community Charities in the marked box at Ocee)
4. Call a friend and tell them how much they mean to you.
5. Leave an encouraging note somewhere on a store shelf or in a popular library book.
