The Friends of the Ocee Library is a non-profit group whose purpose is to promote general knowledge of library services and to provide financial assistance for special library needs and events.

As of 25 June 2019, OCEE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. Ocee will be closed for ~6-9 months.

Please visit http://www.afpls.org/ to find alternate library locations and hours. You'll also find info regarding the renovations/closures that are taking place throughout the library system.

Ocee library is offering programs at off-site locations. This blog will remain active during the closure.

100 Deadliest Days

The hundred days between Memorial Day and Labor Day are the deadliest on the road. This is especially true for teens as crashes involving younger drivers increase during the summer months. Refresh, review, learn something new - an evaluation of the course found that 97% of participants changed at least one driving habit as a result of what they learned.


AARP Smart Driving Class

AARP SmartDriver course for adults and teens 15 and older. AARP guidebook is not required unless you want a certificate. Registration $15 for AARP members with membership card and $20 for non-members.
