On My Journey

Our friends at the Alpharetta Community Chorus invite you to their spring concert:

On My Journey
Thomas & Robin Yackley, Co-Artistic Directors
featuring Requiem by Gabriel Fauré
with soloists Arietha Lockhart and John LaForge
and chamber orchestra

Special Guests Chattahoochee Chamber Singers - Jennie Fabianski, Director
Sunday 7 May, 3:00 pm at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church
180 Academy Street, Alpharetta, GA

Life presents many challenges along the way. It helps to reflect on what it means to work through those difficulties and the importance of offering help to those in need.

We will also present selections that deal with life’s struggles: Light of a Clear Blue Morning (Dolly Parton), I’ve Been in the Storm So Long (Spiritual), That Lonesome Road (James Taylor), No Time (trad), Come Away to the Skies (trad), You Cannot Lose My Love (Sara Groves), and Gonna Get Through This World (Woody Guthrie).

We hope you'll join us for an hour of uplifting and meaningful music. The concert is free, but donations are appreciated. The chorus will gift a portion of our donations to the survivors of the South Georgia storms.
