Summer Dangers

Image result for cat dog reading book

We couldn't agree more! Summer, especially the 4th of July holiday, can be a dangerous time for pets. House parties with loud noises/fireworks can frighten animals and there's an increased chance for escape with open doors and windows.

  • Make sure your pet had visible ID and a microchip
  • Exercise pets earlier in the day - a tired pet is more relaxed
  • Set up a quiet closed room with their favorite things. A TV or radio playing on low might help distract from noise.
