New Auto-Renewal Feature

The Fulton County Library System recently rolled out auto-renew, a new feature to better serve our patrons. Checked-out materials will now be automatically renewed on the day they’re due. This does not apply to digital check outs such as Overdrive or Hoopla, only items available in the physical library collection.

Pre-overdue notices will still go out as usual. If a patron doesn’t return or renew the item by the due date, it will be automatically renewed.

An item won’t auto-renew if:
- It’s reached its maximum renewals.
- There’s a waiting list.
- The patron’s account is blocked.
- Inter-Library Loans do not auto-renew.

Patrons are always encouraged to check their accounts online to stay on top of their due dates.
