When the Robert E Fulton Library at Ocee opened in October 2004, Friends of Ocee Library had been working years before to ensure that a library was built in our neighborhood. Much has changed in those last 20 years including the fact that our Board of 10+ members has now dwindled to 3. While we've enjoyed advocating, fundraising, planning with library staff, blogging, book sales, and meeting all of you; it's a bigger job than we few can continue to do.
Effective 31 December 2021, the Friends of Ocee Library, a 501(c)3 non-profit organisation, will be dissolved. The Fulton Country Library Foundation will manage any monies for Ocee that FoOL has remaining.
Book donations are no longer accepted.
The Friends of Ocee Library Book Store will close 5 December. Shop early for the best selection. "Leftover" books will go to other Fulco Friends groups.
